Vancouver, British Columbia, April 28, 2006 (TSX Venture: EMX) – Eurasian Minerals Inc. (the “Company” or “EMX”) announces that Barrick Gold Corporation (“Barrick”) and EMX have terminated the regional exploration joint venture (“EJV”) in Turkey described in the Letter Agreement dated September 22, 2004 (see EMX news release dated September 23, 2004). As a result, EMX will continue to retain a 100 percent interest in all of its exploration licenses and projects in Turkey, including the Sisorta volcanic-hosted, high-sulfidation gold project. EMX looks forward to exploring and advancing its portfolio of gold and copper-gold assets in Turkey.
